Before I even met Molly I met Danny and their dog Chester:) We sat outside a coffee shop, drank coffee and chatted about their wedding day and photography inspirations and I petted Chester as much as I could because I don't usually have dogs at my first meetings haha. Naturally, we had to have a little photo session with the three of them together! Danny and Molly picked their neighborhood as the backdrop for their Brooklyn engagement session. Simple and laid back and that's how I like it:)

Diane and Amaru got married at the beautiful Stone Mill this past April. I was surprised to find such a gorgeous rustic venue surrounded by trees and the river in the middle of Bronx in New York Botanical Garden. The leaves were just turning green and the cherry blossoms were in bloom so we took advantage of some of the spring colors for their portraits. A good friend of theirs was there to marry them and the whole celebration felt so laid back and so intimate!

"Does everything have to be a joke?" Ayala kept asking Shaun because there certainly wasn't a lack of humor and puns on their wedding day. Shaun and Ayala are so full of energy and so full of love it's hard not to notice so they made my job quite easy:) The celebration reminded me of a big family getaway with everyone staying in small cabins around the lake and just having a great time!

Ali and Andwele and tying the knot tonight so why not share their engagement photos right on their wedding day?:) After rescheduling multiple times and hoping for a good weather in March I had to be creative and find a good indoor location for these two because the weather did not want to cooperate after all. We decided to shoot at the Metropolitan Museum and it might just be one of my favorite new spots! It's a mix of architectural elements and the ambient light of the space that got me so excited and, of course, all the art pieces are just a perfect addition to some of the photos! I can't wait for today's wedding and looking forward to share more of A + A love story soon:)
Read MoreMetropolitan Building Wedding, Queens, NY - Laura and Andy
It's really hard for me to pinpoint what exactly made Laura and Andy's wedding so special. Maybe because there were simply just too many awesome things about these two that made their wedding a day to remember. I actually got to meet their closest friends and family a day before at their rehearsal dinner and I was instantly blown away by the incredible connection they share with their family and friends. The night was filled with stories of how Laura and Andy met and how right they were for each other. I think their wedding was what weddings should really be about: family and the love the two of them share. I also discovered that lawyers can party hard! I mean laying down on the floor kicking heels up in the air kinda partying:) Wishing these two a life full of that happiness I witnessed on their faces as they exchanged their vows and more fun crazy moments!

This intimate wedding of Melissa and Jason was simply fabulous and so heartfelt! I met with Melissa last year over a glass of beer/wine (can't remember but it was one of these haha) and I think I knew everything about her family and Jason by the end of that hour! She is so full of life and that fabulous energy of hers just comes through the photos! Finally meeting Jason on their wedding day and witnessing their emotional vow exchange was something special. These two are so good together! And what can be better than Jason's nephew giving the most hilarious speech at the end of the night? I've heard a few speeches in my time and this one was seriously the best:) I want to thank Melissa for being the perfect bride for me and letting me do my magic on her wedding day! Congrats once again, Melissa and Jason!

Only 2 weeks left before Laura and Andrew tie the knot and I guess it's the perfect time to share their e-session here:) We decided to explore Laura and Andrew's West Village neighborhood for photo opportunities and we had a blast! Sometimes it's not about finding the most iconic NYC locations and more about the local spots that are meaningful to the couple. West Village is full of charm and great backdrops that I loved so much. Can't wait to document Laura and Andrew's big day very soon!

Fort Tryon Park Wedding Portraits - Michiko and Steve
Sometimes I get to shoot wedding portraits without the stress of the wedding day! Michiko and Steve opted for a post-wedding portrait session in beautiful Fort Tryon Park and we couldn't have asked for a better October weather! These two were so elated together after their wedding celebration a day before it made my job very easy;)

The best 2 hours I spent photographing in December was during this fun elopement session with Megan and Mark! I just loved their energy and quirky personalities:) Sometimes I forget how exciting it must be to be an ocean away from your home and get married with your photographer being the only witness:) I could certainly feel and see that excitement shared between these two lovebirds! And how lucky we were with this incredibly warm sunny weather in December! Happy 1 month anniversary, Megan and Mark!
Read MorePalace of Fine Arts Wedding, San Francisco - Yuchi and Matt
Last year one of my most favorite trips coincided with Yuchi and Matt's wedding in San Francisco. In addition to exploring the foggy coast, I got lucky to document this super laid back intimate celebration:) Yuchi and Matt opted for a simple back yard party featuring the most delicious paella and amazing opera singing and piano performances by their closest friends. Their ceremony was held in front of the Palace of Fine Arts which is conveniently just a couple blocks away from their house. Yuchi and Matt's wedding felt more like a gathering of close friends than any kind of elaborately planned event and it's always a pleasure to document people who just want to have a good time:)

Read MoreInternational Love Story - Veronika and Hiren - New York City Hall and High Line
Veronika and Hiren's love story is truly international! Hiren is Indian born in UAE and Veronika is German and they found each other in Abu Dhabi almost a decade ago. There is probably not a better place to elope than NYC for a couple like that:) Having visited Abu Dhabi earlier this year it was kinda awesome to have a mental picture of where they met and I was excited to document their wedding here in New York. As different as these two are they have one thing in common and it is their love and affection for each other! I couldn't help but notice how goofy and light-hearted Veronika and Hiren were with each other which was the best thing to capture. Veronika's laughter was infectious:)! We picked the High Line in West Village for their portraits and I am kinda obsessed with how cool and urban this off-the-beaten path neighborhood is! Congrats once again, Veronika and Hiren!
Read MoreIntimate Wedding at Isabella's, Manhattan, NY - Jeneen and Eric
When two writers get married one can expect a laid back intimate ceremony with beautiful speeches! I absolutely loved everything about Jeneen and Eric's wedding. They decided to tie the knot in their neighborhood's favorite spot - Isabella's Restaurant. The place was meaningful to them because they also met in the same neighborhood so when Eric's parents suggested it as a possible venue they ultimately decided to go with what's close to the heart. I think it's important to mention that these two planned their wedding in an extremely short period of time and it couldn't have turned out better! At the end of the day, Jeneen and Eric's wedding day felt like a little adventure and these two felt more like two good friends of mine rather than clients! And that's always a great feeling:) Congrats Jeneen and Eric on your 1 month anniversary!

Los Angeles and Malibu hold a special place in my heart. My husband proposed to me on one of the many hills in the area. Needless to say, I was so excited to have an opportunity to come back and shoot this engagement session in my favorite setting ever - the mountains and the ocean. Jessica and Brad suggested Point Dume as a possible location and I couldn't be happier with the results. What I truly loved about these two is the fact that they were so ready to get their feet dirty and climb rocks with me:) It was a super windy day and we had some hiking to do but we had a blast shooting these photos right before sunset.
Read MoreShakespeare Garden Intimate Wedding, Central Park, New York - Jenny and Jonathan
Jenny and Jonathan got married in an intimate ceremony in a beautiful Shakespeare Garden in Central Park. To spice things up, NYC almost got a hurricane on their wedding day so we ended up taking photos with 50 mph wind gusts. When I arrived to document Jenny and Jonathan getting ready at the Wythe Hotel they told me their venue had to cancel their dinner because their venue was a boat and the wind was too crazy:) These two were real troopers and without much complaining they decided to head to a local beer garden in Brooklyn right after their ceremony. To me, their wedding day was so epic and so special I wouldn't have it any other way:)

Three things stood out for me about Amy and George's wedding! First of all, we miraculously managed to get some epic shots in Brooklyn Bridge Park before it started pouring during their ceremony! Second, their party was officially the craziest dance floor of the year (I guess, that was to be expected at a dancer's wedding!). Third, Amy and George are the sweetest most genuine people who are crazy in love with each other!! Needless to say, I loved being a part of this wedding and I am beyond excited to finally share these images here. Congrats once again, Amy and George!
