Finally sharing this special celebration of Ashley and Julia in Brooklyn Historical Society. It was a laid back day exploring Brooklyn with these two and their bridal party followed by a beautiful ceremony set in a library room of the Historical Society building. From the moment I met Ashley and Julia at a coffee shop I felt so connected to their love story and their wedding day turned out to be full of so many touching emotional moments. It was truly a pleasure documenting Ashley and Julia’s love story and reminds me of why I miss weddings so much during this quarantine!

Had a privilege to document this super classy and beautifully put together celebration of Megan and Corinne last June at my neighborhood Brooklyn Botanic Garden! The Palm House as always provided a perfect setting for a fun party and, of course, we were able to explore the lush grounds for wedding photos earlier in the day.
Their wedding date also happened to be the first day of Pride Month! It is always such an honor to support same sex couples and document all kinds of love! Thank you Corinne and Megan for having me along for the ride:)

Areum and Les! What a pair of absolutely amazing women who I was privileged to celebrate with and document their love story at My Moon Restaurant in Williamsburg last Summer. I met these two over coffee initially but I truly got to get a glimpse into their relationship during their engagement session in Queens. We strolled through their neighborhood, popped into a moving image museum for some creative shots and ended at a movie theatre arcade! They are so sweet and playful with each other and, of course, we bonded over our mutual love for Harry Potter:)
Fast forward to their beautiful July wedding day and I felt empowered just to share the room with them because it’s exciting to see lgbt couples being celebrated. Needless to say, the speeches by their friends and family felt so emotional and so important. The words of support and unconditional love filled the room but even without the words you could feel how genuinely excited everyone was for this union:)
Thank you so much Areum and Les for picking me to capture your day!

This year my wedding season started in early January thanks to these two amazing women who decided to get married! I met Sarah and Lauren for coffee a little over a month before their wedding day and these two had zero idea about how their day would go but they were clearly beyond excited to get some of the closest friends and family for a very special intimate celebration in Williamsburg. I gladly shared as much wedding planning knowledge as I could with them and looking back I think the day was as laid back as they wanted it to be. Did I mention it was a snow storm on their wedding day?:) With some uber delays we finally made it to a unique loft space in Williamsburg where the girls were getting married. I've witnessed many ceremonies and they are all special but being there for Sarah and Lauren's ceremony really made me feel like I am doing this for a reason! It was such a heartfelt and emotional moment! I loved every minute of the day and I only wish I could stay longer to capture more moments! Congrats once again to two brides!
