What better way to start a new year than documenting a celebration of love?:) I met Erin and Virgil at Toasted Brooklyn wedding event. Erin surprised me by asking if I was available for their January 1st wedding and I excitedly said that I was! After some discussion, Erin and Virgil decided to make it official a day before their wedding reception. So on December 31st we met at NYC City Hall and it was a perfect beginning to my New Years Eve celebration!Read More
Happy New Year! Finally able to share the photos from this festive elopement that took place right before the holidays. Kara and Ad planned a wedding back in their hometown Inverness, Scotland but at the last minute decided to elope in NYC. I was so thrilled to spend a few hours with them on their wedding day. We explored Grand Central, Bryant Park and took a few shots by the iconic New York Library. Congrats Kara and Adam!Read More
Emily and Matthew surprised everyone by getting married in Hawaii. They literally decided to elope after landing on the beautiful island of Oahu. What an adventure that must have been! Their family and friends gathered at the elegant Hawaii inspired celebration dinner at the Bakehouse back in NYC to congratulate the happy couple. I was so impressed with the venue decor and location. I loved the gorgeous sunset light pouring into the room during the cocktail hour and the nearby piers provided a perfect backdrop for Emily and Matthew's portraits.

I never really believed in online dating until I started shooting weddings. It turns out so many of my couples found their love online. Olga and Javier are no exception. These two opted for a private elopement at the New York City Hall followed by a photo session in Central Park. I love working with couples who have a vision for their wedding photos and Olga and Javier were wonderful collaborators. We took a stroll around the lake stopping by the iconic Bethesda Fountain and we found some gorgeous blossoming cherry trees. However, Olga and Javier were most excited about the lake and the row boats after seeing some of my other photos taken on the lake. Unfortunately, the boathouse was closing earlier but it didn’t stop us. The guys at the boathouse were so kind to let the newlyweds enjoy the boat ride after the closing hours and we got the shots we wanted:) Congratulations once again, Olga and Javier!Read More
