A few weeks ago I organized a gorgeous styled wedding shoot in Central Park. It was a dream come true to coordinate something so elaborate and work with so many talented vendors on creating the final look.
I was intrigued by the idea of finding an atmosphere of rustic romance in the heart of Manhattan. The Central Park Lake seemed like a perfect setting for combining rustic elements with elegant vintage inspired dress and accessories. I wanted to capture the couple in the most romantic and ethereal way against the backdrop of The Loeb Boathouse, accentuated by beautiful autumn yellows and greens.
The bride’s look was a celebration of vintage lace and silk motifs, pearl and rhinestone details, and romantic soft make up and hair styling.
The groom was debonair in a classic English inspired three-piece suit designed by Against Nature Atelier. The looks were complemented by DIY bouquet and boutonnière made of miniature spray roses, delicate baby’s breath and rustic sorghum.
I envision an intimate ceremony set under magnificent willow trees followed by a romantic boat ride and a reception at the exquisite Loeb Boathouse.
