It's time I share some Brooklyn love with you! Hayley and Ryan met at work 5 years ago and became friends right away but didn't start dating until a year later after one fateful canceled date Ryan instead invited Hayley to a concert where "a spark" finally happened! I met these two in a their neighborhood Brooklyn coffee shop and they seemed so into each other I knew their day would be fun and full of laughter. Hayley and Ryan told me they are the biggest goofballs who love to laugh more than anything, go on adventures, hang out with their two pups and looking to help out the world! It was a pleasure getting to know these two amazing people and capturing their beautiful stylish Brooklyn celebration!

Queens County Farm Museum Wedding, NY - Ashley + Matt
None of us anticipated rain for such an outdoorsy venue as Queens Farm Museum but it was all worth it and we even got to get inside the Museum building. As we stood there in one of the old rooms of the house Matt told me how important the house is to his family history and how they make new memories there as often as possible. His grandmother was born in this very house! We did the first look in one of the rooms where Ashley and Matt took a cooking class together. I love these two because I could feel the intensity of their love right there in that moment. It was so emotional and so raw. And then it poured and poured more and although we didn't get to meet the llamas we did our best to capture some photos outside in the rain. I am so grateful to Ashley and Matt for trusting my vision and being so open about getting a little wet to get some awesome rain photos at night. I am amazed at how much work Ashley and Matt put into their celebration. From finding a ton of unique vintage plates and tea cups to designing her own flowers Ashley made it look effortless and so amazingly beautiful.

This is one of the most memorable elopements I had in a while thanks to NYC Five Boro Bike Tour happening on the same day Oscarina and Tiago decided to get married:) We met up in Central Park in Wagner Cove and I documented the sweetest ceremony officiated by Judie Guild. After exploring Central Park we got on our way to Dumbo for more photos. Here is where our adventure began and we were stuck in traffic for hours until finally we had to abandon the car and walk along the bikers:) We finally made it to Dumbo after adventuring through the city by car, on foot and on uber! Tiago and Oscarina were real troopers and embraced the challenge and we got some beautiful shots:)

Jayel and Shawn have the most amazing supportive family and friends and, of course, their dog Roxy was the flower girl:) The location, the weather, all the emotions and that huge moon illuminating the tent at the end of the night made this a celebration to remember!

Read MoreMoments - Pacific North West
I took a little break from blogging and booked a last minute trip to Pacific North West. My friend Jessica and I drove up from San Francisco to Seattle stopping in many wondrous locations. This trip has been life changing! I had moments to reflect and I feel so refreshed and inspired to photograph weddings and be more creative and capture light and moments in new unexpected ways. Traveling is the one thing that leaves me inspired to always push harder and be more creative. I also feel the undeniable pull to shoot more celebrations in nature because natural elements give me so much piece and make for some amazing photos!
This trip was a journey through rain and unexpected sunshine in the North, getting wet and feeling comfortable being uncomfortable, surprise stops, closed roads, jumping over beach rivers, climbing different things, confusing fog with clouds, lots of good coffee and much much more. Here are a few shots that bring back so many memories. Also, if you are considering a relaxing honeymoon on Pacific North West please check out Wild Spring Habitat Cabins because the experience of staying there just for one night was transcendent.

This year my wedding season started in early January thanks to these two amazing women who decided to get married! I met Sarah and Lauren for coffee a little over a month before their wedding day and these two had zero idea about how their day would go but they were clearly beyond excited to get some of the closest friends and family for a very special intimate celebration in Williamsburg. I gladly shared as much wedding planning knowledge as I could with them and looking back I think the day was as laid back as they wanted it to be. Did I mention it was a snow storm on their wedding day?:) With some uber delays we finally made it to a unique loft space in Williamsburg where the girls were getting married. I've witnessed many ceremonies and they are all special but being there for Sarah and Lauren's ceremony really made me feel like I am doing this for a reason! It was such a heartfelt and emotional moment! I loved every minute of the day and I only wish I could stay longer to capture more moments! Congrats once again to two brides!
