When I arrived at Ayla and David's venue I couldn't believe how magical this place was - surrounded by lush flower fields and panoramic views! Ayla and her bridesmaids were getting ready in a little shack not far from the Round House. Ayla looked stunning in her unique lace inspired wedding dress with pops of purple and blue in her jewelry and shoes. We decided to capture their first look in the flower fields located on the property. Everything was so close but provided such unique backdrops throughout the day. Their ceremony was truly special! Ayla and David exchanged their vows under a beautiful sunflower arch decorated with antlers and wildflowers. It was beautiful, emotional and accompanied by perfect guitar tunes. The ceremony was followed by a dinner under the tent. The night ended in the Round House with lots of dancing and dessert tasting.
Both families played a crucial role in putting the event together. All the centerpieces, bouquets and bridesmaids' halos were handmade. Even the flower girl basket was hand woven by Ayla's mother. Ayla created her own seed packet wedding favors out of recycled paper bags and placed them on hand made birch holders. Every little detail seemed to be in the right place and helped paint the picture of what Ayla and David are all about. It was a joy to hear their families and friends tell stories of their travels and celebrate their adventures together. What a beautiful and heartfelt celebration and I was truly honored to capture Ayla and David's love story!
